Human capital is not consumed but generated through the LTC Academy: “Creating an Academy is a great opportunity. It is a declaration made to employees on investment by the company in talent. It is a manifestation of the ideals of a company for excellence in leadership.” R.Krishnamoorthy, VP HR for GE.
LTC has always focused on the future through investments made in material and human resources. For LTC, creating the Academy means building the future of the company based on maximising people’s potential and their professional identity and above all maintaining the wealth of knowledge, thereby supporting the effective management of complexities in the manufacturing operational context.
The LTC Academy is not a simple technical training centre, but a value centre based on a continuous journey to maximise people’s professional potential and on the corporate culture passed down to new talents. The new talents participate in “knowledge workshops” thanks to work experience while still at school or internships with training projects, through to apprenticeships.
LTC talents must be able to develop the key training-related skill: learning agility, i.e. the ability to learn from experience, the propensity to learn. The Academy also offers resources team building experiences and training meetings with the aim of boosting collaboration and sharing: an engine driving continuous innovation and therefore creating a competitive advantage on the market.
